Tour 2, Day 47: Viborg to Skive - apprx 35km

semi-overcast 17 °C

I woke with a pleasent converstaion in Norwegian with Jonas. He just recieved a position doing a feature film as an lillustrator/animator. After nine years of searching, finally gold! The morning was great. The converstaion vibrant. It pumped me full of energy, although I was still wrecked from the cycle from Århus.

9am. I packed and was out the door with Jonas. I headed to the city, looking for the national cycle route number 2. Straight away I was on a goose chase. BUT! It lead me back tothe city hear and the massive cathedral that is surrounded with old pedestrian ways.

I decided I would send photos to people and went to the information centre to find a Japan Foto shop. When I was printing my photos, my father called. The concersation was a little sombre, and the delay caused my the computer to my mobile caused a frustration with him. At the end of the converstaion, my energy was zapped and I felt depressed. I chatted to my mother and I still felt the same. I went to the post office and sent my nely printed photos as postcards to several people.

My day was depressing. I felt depressed. I felt rushed. I felt not relaxed like I did in Norway. I felt depressed. The wind sloed my progress. It was strong from the west. I took many breaks. The road was loose gravel. Loos gravel and wind. frustrating.

4pm. I arrived in Skive. I went to the library to look for work and a flat mate in København. The converstaions with my father left me streed about money and work. I used my Norwegian Bank-Card to pay for a membership to FindRoomMate.dk, in hope to find a room mate.

6pm. The Library was shutting. I left. I was hungry and still felt like shit. I went to the store to buy fruit and bread.

My Bank-Card!!!

I left it is the library. This means I can not go north to Fur. I can not go to Thisted in the morning. My weekend then will change. Domino effect. but I want to celebrate Sankt Hans Aften, go to Fur and meet with my host in Thisted.

At this point I let it all go. All my stress gone. Just breath. Do not rush. Do not plan so much. do not listen to much to other people's concerns. RELAX.

Inhale... Exhale...

I contacted Ulrik. He let me stay at his place again. Using my credit card, I went back to Viborg. A four hour bike ride and a twenty minute train ride. Go figure.

I let go of everything. all I know is that I want to go to the Fur Musuem and celebrate Sankt Hans Aften. i cooked dinner and watched a TV series with Jonas and Ulrik. Afterwards, ulrik went to bed and Jonas showed me some footage from a Norwegian TV series. We chatted a bit and hang out. He is such a nice guy. I would liek to meet someone like this to date.

Time for bed.
